Visa requirements
To be eligible for the Senior Executive Visa you must have significant business and personal assets which will allow you to settle in Australia and run a business. You must also possess ownership or interest in a business or be directly involved in Management of a business. If you are 45 years or below you will not need to go through a sponsorship programme, however, if you are older than 45, sponsorship will be required. Processing time
A processing time of around 6 to 12 months is required before the visa is granted.
Visa entitlements
There are restrictions to holding a temporary business visa, for example, you may not be able to apply for Medicare, the Australian Government medical expense and hospital care scheme, family assistance or social security payments. Private Health Insurance is available to you; however, it is not a requirement for the application of this visa.
Once you obtain a permanent visa you will have the right to live in Australia and be granted social security and public health care.
