Skilled Regional Sponsored(SRS) Visa

Skilled workers who are unable to get the permanent Australia working visa, can apply for this Skilled Regional Sponsored (SRS) Visa (Subclass 495). Approved applicants are granted a three year stay in Australia; to meet the time and employment requirements they can apply for permanent Australia Visa.

Sponsorship by a participating State or Territory government or delegated Regional Certifying Body (NSW only) is necessary to avail the skilled independent regional visa. A person who is unable to meet the points test pass mark can apply for this Australia work visa. A person holding Working Holiday Maker visa who has been in Australia for at least six (6) months or a person holding an Occupational Trainee visa and has completed the period of training for which the visa was issued can get the skilled independent regional visa.
