Visa Entitlements
Students who enter Australia to study can apply, in advance, for “permission to work” whilst studying. You can include your family members or spouse in your application. A Student Visa allows the holder the right to leave Australia during college holidays but students must return to Australia to continue the course once the break is over. All students on Australian Student Visas must maintain a class average to pass the course and to maintain their visa status. Students who have studied in Australia are eligible to apply for permanent residency in Australia.
